While the Charm City hasn't had a true hockey team since 1997, there are still tons of hockey fans who remember that Baltimore was a hockey hotbed in its hey day. For more than 60 years there was always a team to root for. Whether it was singing 'come on you Baltimore Clippers' in the 60s and 70s, cheering on the Skipjacks in the 80s and early 90s, or watching the Bandits in the mid-90s, Baltimore has long had hockey roots.
