Invoice for sale of Stepanov 1997/99 Game Worn Spartak Jersey to Keith Lenn from Diversified International, Inc.
Tags:
There is the standard Lutch International tag stating that the jersey was made in Russia. There is
also a very small "XL" size tag that is sewn in with the Lutch tag.
Patches:
There are no "patches" sewn onto the jersey. All graphics are dye-sublimated onto the jersey. The
shoulders contain an advertisement for "Paris Elysees Parfums." There are "ADIDAS" advertisements
on the front of the jersey on the upper left side and above the nameplate on the back. The Lutch insignia
is also on the upper right of the jersey front. On the jersey back, below the number "7", is a white
strip of fabric sewn onto the jersey which covers up an advertisement for "Jay Network."
Nameplate:
There is no "nameplate," however the name STEPANOV is dye-sublimated in Cyrillic where the nameplate
normally is sewn on.
Hemline:
The hemline shows a slight thread snag on the back of the jersey. There are some stray black marks
on the hemline on the jersey front, including a four-inch stick mark. The hemline on the inside of the jersey back
shows a small board burn.
Neck:
There is some minor stress of the neckline, as it is slightly stretched out.
Fight Strap:
This jersey does not contain a fight strap.
Left Sleeve and Shoulder:
The left sleeve features a padded elbow, sewn in with an extra layer of fabric. The lower red section
of the sleeve shows at least four black marks, undoubtedly from either sticks or pucks. There is a blue
mark on the red lower section of the sleeve which is probably board paint. The lower white stripe
contains two black marks and the middle black stripe contains a slight tear in the fabric. Above the
stripes there are many black marks and another blue paint mark. The left shoulder contains a few black
marks, a couple of which also touch onto the "Paris Elysees Parfums" advertisement. There is an unrepaired
inch-long rip in the "r" and "f" of the word "Parfums" on the advertisement. There are a couple of small red
marks on the left shoulder, which could be either pipe paint or board paint.
Right Sleeve and Shoulder:
The right sleeve features a padded elbow, sewn in with an extra layer of fabric. The lower red section
of the sleeve shows at least three black smudges, made from either pucks or sticks. The elbow shows three very
good board burns. There is another good board burn toward the wrist line and also some blue board paint
lower down on the sleeve. The lower white and clack stripes contain a variety of balckenings, blue board paint, and board burns.
The upper white stripe, as does the white section above the stripes, contains very good game use in the way of blackening
from puck and stick marks. The shoulder area appears clean.
Jersey Front:
The front of the jersey is filthy and shows excellent game use. There are many prominent stick and puck
marks on the front of the sweater, including many marks across the dye-sublimated crest, which features
the "C" of Moscow Spartak. In Russian, the "C" sounds like an "S" in English, hence, the "C" for Spartak.
The stripes on the lower part of the jersey front also show some good stick and puck marks.
Jersey Back:
The back of the jersey is fairly clean, indicating that Maxim Stepanov did not have his back to the play much of the time.
There is a red paint mark by the left armpit on the back of the jersey. This is probably pipe paint. There
are a few black marks on the stripes on the lower left of the jersey back. On the "P" of Stepanov (which looks like a "pi" symbol
in Cyrillic) there is some general filth but it is light.
Other Notes:
This is a great game worn Moscow Spartak game worn sweater with excellent game use.
