Tags:
This jersey has the size tag in the neck denoting a size 52. The MeiGray Group serial number
tag is in the inside hem. The Air-knit wash tag is on the inside of the jersey.
Patches:
The KOHO ad patch is on the back of the jersey above the nameplate. The Alternate
Captain's "A" is sewn onto the jersey front.
Nameplate:
Black letters are sen onto a grey outline which is sewn onto a white background.
Then the lettering was sewn onto an orange nameplate which is sewn onto the jersey back.
The nameplate is clean and shows no game use.
Hemline:
The hemline contains the MeiGray Group tag on the inside hem. The NHL
shield is embroidered on the hem on the jersey back. The black jersey
hem is clean.
Neck:
The neck is clean and shows little to no game use.
Fight Strap:
The fight strap is clean and shows little to no game use.
Left Sleeve and Shoulder:
The left sleeve/shoulder shows excellent game use. A vertical stick mark
can be seen from the orange portion above the grey stripe onto the grey. A prominent
repair is located on the elbow patch. Several black marks are seen to the left of the repair.
At least one board burn is evident in the elbow area. Several abrasions can be found as well.
A couple of faint stick marks can be seen on the white to the left of the "8."
Right Sleeve and Shoulder:
The right sleeve is close to being hammered. Several burns, including a rather large one,
can be seen on the black sleeve stripe. An unrepaired hole is found above the burns on the grey
stripe. A small unrepaired hole is found on the orange portion of the sleeve just above the grey stripe.
A sew repair is seen on the orange sleeve portion just above the grey stripe. At least two more unrepaired
holes are found in the vicinity of the sew repair. Two additional repairs are found further up the sleeve
on the orange portion of the sleeve. An unrepaired hole and some black marks can be seen near these repairs.
Some faint puckerings can be found to the left of the "8." The upper sleeve contains some
puckerings on both the orange and white. A dark stick mark is located on the lower orange portion of the sleeve.
Jersey Front:
The jersey front shows moderate game use. Several puck and stick marks are seen on the
white stripe towards the jersey bottom. As you view the jersey front, small black marks can be
seen on the lower right above the stripes. A couple of black spots are seen below the jersey crest. The crest
is clean as is the "A."
Jersey Back:
The jersey back is clean save for a couple of black stick hacks on the lower left as
you view the jersey. Some stray threads are hanging from the "8."
Other Notes:
This jersey shows great wear for a "third" jersey. Mark Recchi is a lock to score
500 goals and he should wind up in Toronto's Hall of Fame. This jersey was a steal at
what I paid for it!
