Tags:
Maska Air Knit size tag - XXL located in neckline;

Patches:
There are no patches on this jersey.

Nameplate:
The name "BROTEN" is heat-sealed onto a white nameplate which is sewn onto the jersey.

Hemline:
The hemline, both front and back, contain numerous black markings as well as a red "streak" which could be a paint transfer of some kind, though it appears to be a stick hack. The CCM logo is heat-sealed on the rear of the jersey hem.

Neck:
The neck is clean and contains the Maska Air Knit tag in the neckline.

Fight Strap:
The fight strap is clean, but shows some pilling.

Left Sleeve and Shoulder:
Numerous black marks are found on the lower-half of the sleeve. An unrepaired hole is found on the blue stripe below the red stripe. A faint black hack mark is found above the three middle stripes. A small unrepaired hole is found between the "3" and the "7" of the sleeve numbers. Below the "3" is a breaking up of the material. A stick mark across the lower right side of the "3" has caused the red heat-sealed portion of the "3" to streak upwards, forming a prominent red hack mark. A sloppy repair seems to have been made as the stitching between the sleeve and the body seems to be holding the two pieces together. It looks as if the sleeve/shoulder was reattached.

Right Sleeve and Shoulder:
The lower half of the sleeve, below the stripes, is pounded with stick marks, abrasions, paint transfers, and at least two unrepaired holes. Another unrepaired hole is found on the blue stripe adjacent to a small board burn. Numerous abrasions are found among the stripes and above, right up through to the top of the shoulder. The "3" on the sleeve numbers contains an abrasion and there are several puckerings in and about the numbers.

Jersey Front:
The jersey front contains material snags and some puck marks. Several abrasions and faint stick marks are found on the lower stripes. Above the stripes is a patch of general filth, numerous material snags, abrasions, and a small unrepaired hole are evident. To the right the "S" of "RANGERS" is a hack mark that shows some faint blackening. Small material snags can be found as you move up the jersey front.

Jersey Back:
The jersey back is fairly clean. A small red "hack" or paint transfer is found on the lower part of the hem. A stick mark across the "7" has dragged some of the red heat-sealed numbering onto the white portion of the fabric between the numbers. A couple of tiny abrasions can be seen under close inspection.

Other Notes:
The New York Rangers used an extremely light-weight fabric on their preseason jerseys during this era. This has helped to increase the wear on the sweater.
