The jersey has the Maska Air Knit tag in the neck. In pen, the size is denoted with a "54."

Patches:
There are no patches on this jersey. However, there is a large rectangular piece of fabric sewn onto the orange portion of the right shoulder. The fabric is of identical make and color of the original jersey fabric.

Nameplate:
The nameplate is intact. White letters are sewn onto the blue nameplate which is sewn onto the jersey. There is no evidence of a nameplate change.

Hemline:
The hemline contains the CCM logo and NHL shield to the right of the CCM logo.

Neck:
The neckline does not show any unusual game use. "89/90-1" has been written in black permanent marker inside the neck to denote the set number and year. This is consistent with other Oilers jerseys I have seen from this era.

Fight Strap:
The fight strap is relatively clean, showing some minor corrosion on the snaps and some pilling on the sides of the strap.

Left Sleeve and Shoulder:
The left sleeve cuff shows a faint stick mark; at least three unrepaired holes/slices are found on the lower white stripe of the sleeve. Some stick marks also appear on the stripe with some blue board paint.

Right Sleeve and Shoulder:
A bold stick mark and a puck mark are found on the sleeve cuff. The lower shite stripe exhibits some general filth including puckering, blue board paint, and at least one small unrepaired hole. Two tiny board burns are found on the orange of the cuff and again on the elbow. Two small burns are found on the blue of the shoulder area. An orange patch, rectangular and slightly smaller than an index card, is sewn onto the shoulder.

Jersey Front:
The jersey front exhibits generous game wear. The crest shows a veticle 3-inch stick mark to the left of the "teardrop" and across the word "Oilers" horizontally is a bold 4-inch hack mark. Some general filth consisting of puck and stick marks, especially along the lower white stripe, are evident. A small abrasion/burn can be seen on the blue stripe above the lower white stripe. The upper white stripe also contains some gneral filth.

Jersey Back:
To the right of the nameplate, some board burns on the shoulder exist. Bleeding from the marker used to write the set number on the inside-neck is evident. The "2" contains a bold 5-inch stick mark along the bottom of the number. Small and rather faint puckerings are scattered among the lower stripes.

Other Notes:
This jersey is a great example of a late 1980s CCM Edmonton Oilers home jersey.
