Certificate of Authenticity from Lutch International (www.RussianJerseys.com) dated January 01, 2001 and issued to Keith Lenn.
Tags:
A tag with the Lutch insignia and symbolic washing instructions is sewn into the neckline.
A small sizing tag, size 54, is sewn into the neckline and lies atop the Lutch tag.
Patches:
Several advertsing patches adorn the sweater. The front features the Etab Data, Husqvarna, Scanbox,
and Haninge Bostader patches. The back features the Olsten and Gasell patches. Both arms feature a
Driva patch. The Rehband "patch" on the front is actually dye-sublimated onto the jersey and technically not
considered a patch.
Nameplate:
The nameplate is on the lower back of the sweater and is sewn onto the jersey. The letters have been
dye-sublimated onto the identical red mesh fabric that the jersey is made of.
Hemline:
The hemline is clean except for some abrasion from contact with the boards to the right of the
Haninge Bostader patch.
Neck:
The neckline shows extremely light stress and is devoid of marks or tears.
Fight Strap:
This jersey does not feature a fight strap.
Left Sleeve and Shoulder:
The left sleeve and shoulder show light game use. There are some small board burns on the blue portion of the
sleeve. There is a small white area on the blue sleeve which shows the fabric breaking apart, but
not quite all the way through. The lower white stripe has a brown/tannish line mark on it; I am unsure
what the mark is from. There are also a couple of black marks on the back of the sleeve above the
elbow patch.
Right Sleeve and Shoulder:
The right sleeve and shoulder show light game use. The slightest of board burns appears on the
blue sleeve, but you have to look extremeley hard to find it. A stick mark on the lower white stripe
is easily seen.
Jersey Front:
The jersey front shows very light game use. A small board burn to the right of the Haninge Bostader patch (as youview the jersey)
is apparent on the stitching that separates the jersey front from the hemline. A light-brown stain, quite faint actually,
can be found on the left side of the Husqvarna patch. A very light stick mark can be located on the right side
of the Scanbox patch. The slightest of pilling can be seen on some of the patches.
Jersey Back:
The jersey back shows light game use. A small brownish mark can be located way to the right of the number "3"
under very close inspection. A bold stick mark to the left of the "3" is the most prominent feature on the
back of this sweater.
Other Notes:
This unique jersey was worn by current Detroit Red Wing Dmitri Bykov, a defenseman for the 1999 Russian National Team.
This colorful jersey was worn during the 1999 Karjala Cup held in Helsinki, Finland from
November 11th through the 14th of 1999 and is considered the "away" jersey for the tournament. I lucked out when
Bykov was drafted by the Red Wings and am very happy to see Bykov succeed and play the
North American game at a good skill level.
